Galadriel WIP

This is still an unfinished work, because I intend to colour it. I wanted to post it anyways, because as a full inked linework, I think it is pretty good... and just because.

You can see both the first sketch, which I realised was absolutely useless when I tried to colour it because I couldn't see my own details; and then the second effort at it, when I inked and finalized the concept, it even has got a frame now.

This is Lady Galadriel, the mythic white Lady of Lothórien, and one of the most ancient beings remaining in Middle Earth. She was born the Daughter of Prince Arafinwë (Finarfin) and Earwen of Alqualonde. Grandaughter to two great kings (Finwë of the Noldor, and Olwë of the Teleri). In her youth she was already famed for her beauty, even if exceedingly tall and strong, her fable hair was golden. His father named her Altàriel ('noble woman'), and her mother Nerwen ('man-maiden') for she was willful and unyelding. She followed her uncles in her exile to the shores of Middle Earth, and braved the cold of the Helcaraxë. In Beleriand she was welcomed by her great-uncle Elwë (Elu Thingol) into Doriath where she met Celeborn, kinsman of the King, whom she wed. He called her Galadriel ('Maiden Crowned by a Radiant Garland' ) for the first time, a name which she adopted from then on. Together they braved the passing of the ages and wandered between diferent Kingdoms and heleped ere they were needed, waiting for the right time to pass again over the seas.
